The 2016 blog awards gala organised by the Bloggers Association of Kenya went down yesterday at the Radisson Blu Hotel. I know I had posted on Facebook that it was to go down on 7th May. It was postponed last week to yesternight.
This is not a post to tell you every detail of what happened. I don’t know everything that happened. But people won and walked away with awesome prices: Samsung and Huawei phones, Safaricom airtime, Samsung VRs.
I was nominated by you faithful readers under the category “Best Technology Blog“! Imagine! I started this in 2014 as a pastime activity. I think I’m getting the hang of it nowadays. And I’m thankful for all the people who spent their time (and bundles) to vote for this site.
I got 828 votes! Meaning 827 people somewhere voted for me! And that is really huge for me. Thank you. I didn’t expect that.
