Quick Look at the Wiko U-Feel Lite

Let’s be real here. Fingerprint phones will soon be everywhere. And everyone will soon want one. The high end expensive phones had already brought this feature and now it’s time affordable phones try this out. Maybe.

The Wiko U-Feel lite is being launched soon (now on Jumia), and here’s everything you need to know.

Fingerprint Scanner:

The thing is this: most phones with fingerprint scanners become boring over time if the only thing you do with the fingerprint scanner is use it to unlock the phone.

Wiko wants to change this with 5 different prints for 5 different actions. Such that the thumb print can be for unlocking your phone, the index finger for calling a favourite person in your life, the middle finger for opening a certain app, etc.

I also love the fact that the scanner is on the front and not the back as it is with many phones nowadays. But that becomes an issue when the scanner becomes a bother while using the phone. Good thing Wiko says the scanner will be useable as a back/home button.

Design:

I love the fact that it is a full metal body phone. That means there will obviously be a premium feel to it.

It being 5 inches only feels a bit small, but also means a compact feel. Remember many people still don’t love blown out huge devices.

Display:

I would have expected it to have a 1080p display. But the 720p resolution is just good enough. And a good save on the battery.

Battery:

I really wish Wiko could squeeze in at least 500mAh more to make it the new standard battery size. I hope the display and the processor will make the 2500mAh battery be able to take one through the day.
