What You Need to Know About the New Infinix Zero 2

Infinix have today announced the new Infinix Zero 2 which is going for Ksh. 20,000 on Jumia. I am hoping to get a review unit before writing a comprehensive review post. Here’s how it looks. Pretty? Yes.

Infinix Zero 2

For now, this are some of the things you need to know about the new phone:

  • It launches at a slightly cheaper price than the price Zero 1 launched at.
  • There are some design changes. The previous one was glass back and front. This isn’t. The back is made of Kevlar material. Isn’t Kevlar said to be Bullet proof?
  • The screen is said to be Super AMOLED protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. Not the Dragontrail Glass anymore it seems.
  • Screen is 5.0 inches in size.
  • 720p resolution. I had expected 1080p.
  • 13MP back camera and 5MP front. No change.
  • Weighs about 118g.
  • 2GB RAM
  • 2.0GHz Octo-core processor.
  • It runs Lollipop.
  • It is 3G enabled. Not 4G.
  • It is an X509, I think.

I will do a comprehensive review of it soon, I hope. And tell you whether or not it is worth your money. Wait for that review.

Tell me what you think about it from the highlights above. You can go ahead and buy the Zero 2 here.
