When Lenovo launched sale of the Moto Z and Moto Z Play Plus in Kenya, they promised to bring more Motorola devices to the market. This became evident after announcement that Safaricom would be stocking more Motorola devices.
So you can, in Kenya, find Moto G5 and G5 Plus, Moto C and Moto C Plus and the higher end Moto Z. Though I am not sure if they are just Safaricom Shop exclusives or can be found elsewhere.
Anyway, there’s are two new budget smartphones from Motorola Moto E4 and the Moto E4 Plus.
Moto E4:
The Moto E4 is retailing at about $130 in the announced markets. Even going as low as $70 with some retailers. It is a 5 inch, Mediatek powered device that runs Android 7.1.1.

Kenya?
Will the good people over at Lenovo be bringing these two devices to the Kenyan market? They definitely should. And then price them appropriately to be able to compete with the Mediatek devices from TECNO and Infinix.
The E4 can go for between Ksh. 12,000 to Ksh. 15,000 while the E4 Plus can cost between Ksh. 18,500 and Ksh. 22,000.
What are your thoughts? It would be good to have these two in the market…?
