Infinix Zero 6 Pro Official Starting at Ksh. 31,999

Infinix has opened up pre-orders for the Zero 6 Pro in Kenya. The pre-order period starts today 25th February to 28th February. People who place a pre-order will enjoy free screen protector replacements for 12 months, get a goody bag, and stand a chance to win another Zero 6 Pro. The recommended retail price is Ksh. 31,999.

The difference between the Zero 6 and the Zero 6 Pro is in storage where the former has 64GB storage while the latter comes with 128GB storage. Only the Zero 6 Pro will be available in Kenya, and it only comes in one colour – Sapphire Cyan as in the image above.

This looks to be the most premium design on an Infinix device in recent years. As it should be considering that hefty price. Both the front and the back are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. This should mean the glass won’t break easily and will also be quite resistant to scratches.

There’s no talk of an update to Android Pie as the phone comes running Android 8.1 Oreo. However, an update should be expected if the company is to take their flagship device seriously.

Infinix has said it has adopted newer AI algorithms for better image quality from the cameras – both selfie shooter and rear cameras. There’s a 20MP selfie shooter with a quad-flash. The rear setup includes a 12MP main lens plus a 24MP extra lens that could either be telephoto for optical zoom, or for depth – this hasn’t been made clear.

It will be interesting to see if Infinix stick with that pricing especially given that the Zero 6 (64GB version) won’t be available in Kenya, and considering that Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 comes with better specs and is expected to cost about Ksh. 19,000. What are your thoughts on the new Zero 6 Pro?

  1. Generally the infinix zero 6 pro is awesome and is among the smartphones to keep your eye on this year. The only disturbing part is the price, I guess its a bit expensive it should range from 25-28k. Otherwise the device is super

  2. Hey, other blogs put the available colors as two – Milan Black and Sapphire Cyan – you may want to check that out and correct, or does it mean that the 6 Pro that is the only one expected comes in that one color?
