Xiaomi Pocophone F1 now receiving Android 10

Xiaomi’s best phone from 2018 is now receiving Android 10. Finally. The device that launched to incredible reviews, lots of love, and even came second on MKBHDs blind test, was amazing because of its price point. Starting at $300 but packing all the high end specs back then, it was the talk of the better part of the last cycle of that year, and early 2019.

It launched running Android 8 Oreo, then later on it received Android 9, and now Android 10 is rolling out.

People in beta had already received an upgrade to Android 10 early in January. There was an expected rollout in February, but that didn’t happen. However, many people are already receiving the official update since March 4th. Check your Updates.

Android 10 brings the usual things that all Android 10 devices have. But for the Pocophone F1, Xiaomi has also included the Wireless Transfer App they partnered with OPPO and Vivo for.

The update makes it a phone to consider in 2020, if you can get it new at a really good price. Remember the replacement to the F1 is expected sometime soon. Poco recently became an independent sub-company of Xiaomi, and already launched a new device called the Poco X2.
