I noticed something today from a friend’s Facebook account. Facebook might be working on or already rolling out a new Facebook Pages User interface. Or maybe this is already official and I’m the one who’s behind the news.

This is the UI many people see when they are on Facebook Pages:

Yes it is good, but one feels overwhelmed. There’s too much for the eyes all at once. At least that’s how I feel.

But on my friends account Facebook pages look like this:

Clean, exciting, and well composed. The ads tab however is not there. Where that will go, I don’t know. Maybe the ads will be under the “Create Page” section.

What do you think of this look?

I love it. I hope the admin view will also be revamped to make it easier to see stats, messages and everything else.
