The flagship devices from TECNO are launching in Kenya in the coming few days at I&M Safaricom Shop. Meaning this will be the first of TECNO’s Phantom series to be sold in Safaricom Shops.
So the date being 7th October, you can get yourself either of the two, hopefully, as early as the next day. Or even that very day at all Safaricom shops.
I have written a whole post here about the TECNO Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus specifications and my guess on how much they might go for.
The launch of the two phones marked the expansion of TECNO beyond the African market where it dominates market share in 6 countries. They also announced that their biggest markets were Nigeria and Tanzania.
According to a report, TECNO is now the number one mobile brand in Africa. Followed by Nokia and then Samsung. Can’t say much about the report, because I wonder just how Nokia still has such a big share.
The Phantom 6 is being tipped as the slimmest phone in the market with dual back camera setup at only about 7mm at its thickest.
TECNO on the other hand have called the Phantom 6 Plus the fastest Deca-core smartphone in the market.
Well TECNO is now expanding to South-east Asia and South America. Let’s wait and see how they fair on there.
Hoping to review both devices and help all of you on which options to go for and how both perform. Especially those cameras!

I believe the battery of the Tecno Phantom 6 should have been a lot more bigger. Just my opinion anyway.
