Jumia Black Friday is on for 12 days from 14th to 25th November

Black Friday was usually an American thing. It is the last Friday of November when many retailers slash prices of their goods to mark the beginning of Christmas shopping.

Jumia Kenya want to do it differently this year. They want Black Friday to run for 12 days. Yaani a shopping spree where prices will be slashed for those two weeks. And this is from the 14th, tomorrow, to the actual Black Friday on 25th when they say prices will hit rock bottom.

Last year many people complained that Jumia Black Friday was a scam. And they said that most of the products still sold for the same price as usual. There were however real discounts that sold out very fast (they were called flash sales), and one had to be super quick to “win” the deal.

Jumia says that they are having Black Friday run for 12 days because of the many retailers who’ll be selling on Jumia. Huge discounts will be on specific categories of products from consumer goods, electronics, fashion, home appliances etc.

Flash sale this time round will feature up to 65% discounts. And the faster you get a product and check out the better your luck. Imagine buying Infinix, InnJoo etc phones at 65% off.

So go ahead and shop —>
