Difference between TECNO Camon 15 Premier and Normal Camon 15

TECNO’s new Camon 15 series is made up of three devices. These are the Camon 15 Premier, the normal Camon 15, and the Camon 15 Air which is yet to be available. Sometime back TECNO shared the official recommended retail prices for all three:

  • Camon 15 Premier: KES. 26,999
  • Camon 15: KES. 17,999
  • Camon 15 Air: KES. 15,999

Here’s a video where I highlight the main differences between the normal Camon 15 and the Camon 15 Pro:

This should help you in making your decision on what device you should pick up. The pricing of the Camon 15 premier is quite high in my opinion, especially for that processor. In the video above, I say that you won’t notice a big difference in cameras of both the normal and the premier. So if the 64MP camera was your main attraction, reconsider.

The major differences between the two as you see in video above, and in table below are:

  • Main Cameras: 64MP on Premier vs 48MP on Normal
  • Selfie Cameras: 32MP pop-up on Premier vs 16MP punch-hole on Normal
  • Battery: 5000mAh on Normal vs 4000mAh on Premier
  • Charging speed: 10W on Normal vs 18W on Premier
  • RAM and Storage: 4/64GB on Normal vs 6/128GB on Premier
  • Processors: Helio P22 on Normal vs Helio P35 on Premier
  • Display resolution: HD on Normal vs Full HD on Premier
  • Price: 18,000 for Normal vs 27,000 for Premier

The table below breaks down the differences much better. The bold text shows you the main differences from each column. Which of the two will you go with?
