Update:
OPPO Kenya has announced the upcoming launch of the OPPO A92 with the wireless earphones Enco W31 also featuring in the mix. The launch is set for May 28th 2020, and will be done online – link provided below.
OPPO claims that although Covid-19 has affected how many brands have been releasing new products into the market, ‘they have beaten them all by dropping one new phone after the other’. This comes after the launch of the OPPO Reno 3. Many other companies have however continued with a normal launch cycle despite the challenges.
The A92 is a mid-ranger with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 5000mAh battery. It is powered by a Snapdragon 665, and runs Android 10 with OPPO’s Color OS 7 Skin. It has a 6.5-inch display with the 16 MP selfie camera housed on a punch-hole. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Enco W31 earbuds on the other hand are wireless earbuds with support for 3.5hrs listening on a single charge. One can get up to 15hrs from the buds using the case to charge them. The earbuds support noise cancellation, and interaction is via touch where you tap either bud to achieve certain things like song skipping.
