OPPO launches the OPPO A52, and the W11 Earbuds in Kenya

OPPO Kenya has announced the introduction of the OPPO A52 to the Kenyan market. The company is also introducing the W11 earbuds. The two new devices are a follow-up to OPPO’s most recent launch which brought the OPPO A92, and the OPPO Enco W31 earbuds – both which have been really great devices to use.

The new OPPO A52 and the OPPO W11 earbuds will retail for:

  • KES. 24,999 for the OPPO A52
  • KES. 4,999 for OPPO W11

But if you buy the OPPO A52, you will get a discount on the earbuds allowing you to pick them up for KES. 3,000. Which is a similar to the deal to what the company has been offering with the OPPO A92 and the W31 earbuds.

OPPO Kenya Communication and Projects Manager Muthoni Wachira said the introduction of the new device, coming shortly after the launch of the A92 demonstrates the firm’s commitment to cater to different market segments. “The A52 still packs the powerful settings in both hardware and software that has come to be associated with OPPO smartphones in this market, even as we remain cognisant of the tough economic situations our country faces due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope that these devices give creatives and young people, in general, an opportunity to create and capture important moments even as they cope with the current circumstances.”

The Enco W11 are true wireless earbuds, and a more affordable offering compared to OPPO’s previously launched W31. Hopefully, they sound just as good, or even better than the W31s. In this form factor, and of course for the price, they will be something many people consider when thinking of true wireless buds. OPPO says the product combines stable core performance and convenient connection with 20-hour battery life, powerful bass, as well as IP55 dustproof and waterproof features.
