realme buds Q now available in Kenya

realme is introducing a new set of earbuds to the market. Dubbed the realme buds Q, realme says these are being brought in as part of the company’s commitment to becoming a trend-setter for the young generation. The new buds will be available in three colours: Black, White and Yellow. The set price for the buds is KES. 3,999.

If you want the buds, you can currently win them in an ongoing giveaway on realme’s Instagram page. The winners of the giveaway will be announced on 27th October.

realme says the buds are uniquely designed in collaboration with French artist Jose Levy, and that they feature a 10mm dynamic bass boost driver, 119ms super-low latency gaming mode, 20-hour long battery life and IPX4 water and sweat resistance allowing one to comfortably work out or do any kind of sporting activities without getting them damaged.

There’s an app with which one can link the earbuds. From the app it seems one can configure the latency, and the touch controls.

The Buds Q come in a case that has a micro-USB portyeah micro-USB – for charging. With the promised 20-hour playback, you can connect it to any device and listen to hours of music, movie-streaming, and video gaming. We assume the 20-hours is from recharging from the case, not continuous single playback.

With the recent launch of the realme C15, the company is including the buds for free with every purchase of the phone on Kilimall.
