Redmi NOTE 10:

The Redmi NOTE 10 is a very well spec’d device at its segment. It runs Android 11 with the MiUI 12 skin, and is powered by a Snapdragon 678 processor. It has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is also IP53 dust and splash-protected.

Unlike many devices from other manufacturers within this segment, the Redmi NOTE 10 has a FULL HD+ display. Others resort to 720p IPS panels to cut on cost. Meanwhile Xiaomi packs an AMOLED panel which offers infinite contrast ratio, while also saving on power.

There’s a 48MP main camera at the back and a 13MP selfie shooter at the front. You get USB Type-C, and 33W fast charging for its 5000mAh battery. Something very few companies offer right now. With 4GB or 6GB RAM, and the processor included, you will be able to run very many different applications, including demanding ones like big games. Check out the full specs here.

Redmi NOTE 10 Pro:

The main reason this phone stands out for me is the 120Hz High-refresh rate panel. This is still a preserve of high-end phones. We’ve only seen 90Hz on some mid-rangers and more affordable devices. So the fact that Xiaomi has brought this to the NOTE 10 Pro in itself is worth commending the company.

The other standout feature with this phone is the 108MP camera. If you’ve always wanted such a camera, and can’t afford the high end Samsungs and Xiaomis, here you go.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 732G, with either 6GB or 8GB RAM. The 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and can do up to 1100 nits of brightness. Check out the specs below.

What to expect from launch:

  1. The giveaway of course.
  2. Where to buy the device – hopefully Xiaomi Kenya nails it on availability because the phones bring proper competition!
  3. Hopefully, more on Xiaomi’s expansion to become an even bigger player in the market.

  1. I’m really in desperate need of note 10, having an mI 5 which has slowly died after 3 yrs. Due to covid-19 am economically down. Can only pay in installments of 3k per month. But need it now, please consider me for a give away or so. Thank you.
