Infinix was a winner at this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, a renowned design prize. The winning product, the company’s latest flagship, the Infinix Zero 8, won the Discipline Product, in the Telecommunication category. It was recognised for what iF Design describes as “particular attention paid to the choice of premium materials, with the designers opting for a tasteful combination of glass, metal and polycarbonate.”
The Infinix Zero 8, took up to 12 months to design and is made specifically for the African and Asian markets. The device features a 6.85” FHD+ smooth display and “ultra-night” & ultra-wide-angle cameras. A minimalist yet exquisite design finish is assured through gem cut surfaces.
Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. This year, the competition was intense with almost 10,000 entries being submitted from 52 countries, all in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.
Infinix Zero 8 won over the 98-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world. More information about Infinix Zero 8 can be found in the “Winners” section of the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE.
