They’re not afraid to embrace the latest technology as the latest generation of A-Series, OPPO A74 and OPPO A54 offer a design that balances both the technology that can get them through their day, but also balances this with style.”
OPPO A74:
The OPPO A74 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip. There’s 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. And you can pick it up in two colour options: Prism Black and Midnight Blue. OPPO says the device not only delivers Super Smooth Performance but also minimises phone lag over time. The 6GB RAM ensures it keeps up with all tasks, messages whether streaming a video, playing a game, or replying to messages.
OPPO promises all-day power from the A74 thanks to the large 5000mAh battery with 33W flash charging. The phone can get up to 54% battery from 0% in just 30 minutes. In 72 minutes, OPPO says the phone should be able to fully charge. OPPO also says that a simple 5-minute charge can guarantee over 5hrs of calling and up to 1.8hrs of YouTube.
The device features a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There’s a 16MP front selfie camera.
The main highlight of the phone is the 6.43-inch AMOLED Full HD Display which offers an immersive experience for users.
OPPO A54:
The A54 comes with a Mediatek Helio P35 processor with 4GB RAM and either 64GB storage for KES. 21,999 or 128GB storage for KES. 24,999. The device also comes with a 5000mAh battery, but in this case only 18W fast charging.
OPPO explains that the device’s triple rear camera setup is a simple, yet premium matrix layout often found on high-end phones. There’s a 13MP Main Camera, a 2MP Macro Camera for close range shots, and 2MP Bokeh for brilliant bokeh shots that blur the background and highlight the subject of the photo.
With this device, there’s also a 16MP front camera.
The A54 is IPX4 rated making it resistant to water splashes; a good addition at this price point.
