Here’s when your Samsung Galaxy Phone and Tablet will Receive Android 12

Samsung is leading the way in rolling out Android 12. The Korean company is currently beating almost every Chinese phone maker in dishing out the Android 12 Update and by the look of things, it will soon be the leading phone maker in matters updates – beating even the Pixel with the December Security patch. This is something they previously handled really poorly. How times have changed!

According to Samsung, in the Samsung Members App, a lot of Galaxy phones and tablets – both budget and high-end – will be receiving the Android 12 Update in the coming months.

The company has shared a roadmap with the expected timelines for when each of the phones should expect the update. So if you have any of these Galaxy devices, be sure to check for the update around the time listed in the table below.

Samsung says the update timelines may be changed if they encounter any issues through the review periods. Hopefully they won’t deviate so much from the listed months above.

Also, given the Android 12 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is rolling out with the December Security Patch, we can expect the same for all the phones above. Such that each listed month’s security patch will also bring in the Android 12 system upgrade.
