OPPO A16K:
The OPPO A16K is described as sleek and light. It measures just 7,85mm in thickness and weighs only 175g. It comes in two colour options – Black or Refreshing Blue.
The display is 6.52 inches with HD+ resolution and all-day eye care. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The phone is powered by the Helio G35 processor and has a 4230mAh battery on board. It charges using a MicroUSB port at 10W.
It runs Android 11, with the all new ColorOS 11.1 which brings features like system booster, flex drop, and freeform screenshots.
The phone has an IPX4 rating meaning it is resistant to water splashes from any direction. OPPO says the device has also been tested for durability by being put through a series of stringent quality tests, making sure that it can stand up to the demands of long-term use
At the back, there’s a single 13MP camera. The company says they’ve upgraded features to help you capture stunning images in a variety of different situations. Backlit HDR can retain rich details in shots taken under backlit and low-light environments, while Dazzle Color Mode can automatically identify the scene to restore the original brightness and color of the image.
At the front, there’s a single 5MP selfie camera.
OPPO A55:
The A44 features a 6.51 inch HD+ display with NEG T2X-1 protection. It runs Android 11 and is also powered by the Helio G35 processor. There’s 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
The main highlights of the OPPOA 55 are the 50MP main camera, and the 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging over USB type-C. The phone will take 30mins to charge from 0-33%.
OPPO pitches the new A55 as an ultra lower-midrange device to consider. The company talks of the device’s unique colour options including rainbow blue and starry black. And of its 3D curved design which OPPO says makes for an ultra-exquisite finish.
The company also boasts of the device’s battery life: Up to 29.79hrs of phone calls and 24.40hrs of music play back.
At the back there’s the 50MP sensor, a 2MP bokeh sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front there’s a 16MP selfie camera.
Of the 50MP camera, OPPO says it comes with pixel binning technology with the default output set at 12.5MP photos which are beautiful and bright, but also save on space. The company says at night the A55 ensures clear shots with the subject in the phone while still preserving background details.
