Samsung yesterday showcased its new flagship series to the world. There are three new devices under the lineup: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and the all new re-done Galaxy S22 Ultra. The company also showcased the new Galaxy TAB S8 series with three new incredible tablets.
All the new devices will be coming to the Kenyan market. This article is a simple breakdown of the important information you may want to know.
What’s new?
This year, the S22 and S22+ are receiving incremental upgrades to the cameras, the performance and little tweaks to the design.
The major upgrades are in terms of software and partnerships Samsung is doing with a myriad of companies including Netflix, Microsoft, Google and Social Media apps.
All Samsung camera features will now be usable through third party social media apps like Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok. That’s a huge departure from back then where such apps wouldn’t access the full quality and functionality of the cameras that come with these phones.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra on the other hand is a whole redesign which at last merges the NOTE line up and the S Series. It looks really good and packs a lot of promise.
When will the phones go on sale in Kenya?
All the three phones go on sale from 10th March 2022. But there’s a pre-order period right before.
Pre-oder benefits?
Pre-orders will run between 1st March 2022 and 10th March 2022 when sales start. Those pre-ordering will get free Galaxy Buds 2 and Samsung Care+. Details will be made clearer at launch.
