Here’s the Infinix NOTE 12 with Helio G88, 50MP camera & 33W Charging

Infinix is set to officially unveil the Infinix NOTE 12 Series. In the series we expect three devices:

  • Infinix NOTE 12 Pro – probably the one with a more powerful processor
  • Infinix NOTE 12 – which we are talking about in this article in detail
  • Infinix NOTE 12i – whose specs and price you can find here

The details of the Infinix NOTE 12 Pro are not yet clear. We may see the Helio G96 processor, 120Hz refresh rates and perhaps faster fast charging. The launch is imminent, and we’ll have an article on the same whenever we get more information.

Let’s talk about the Infinix NOTE 12.

Specs overview:

The specs are as follows:

  • the 6.7 inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display
  • 50MP Triple Camera
  • 16MP Selfie camera
  • 33W fast charging for the 5000mAh battery
  • 6GB RAM with RAM Expansion allowing up to 11GB
  • 7.9mm thinness
  • Android 12

Display:

Since there’s no mention of refresh rate, this may be a 60Hz panel. Which will be weird given the NOTE 12i comes with a 90hz panel.

The AMOLED aspect is really welcome. While it may point to an under-display fingerprint scanner, that won’t be the case as the side power button appears to have an embedded scanner.

The display is impressive because of the following:

  • 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut
  • 100000:1 Colour Contrast Ratio – of course
  • 1000 nits peak brightness
  • 92% Screen-to-body Ratio

50MP Main Camera:

Infinix will be marketing this as an “Ultra Night Camera”. The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro really impressed with its night photography features.

The NOTE 12’s 50MP camera will take 8160*6120 high resolution images. It has a 1/2.8 Large Image Sensor which should aid with the night photography.

There are two extra lenses. One is 2MP and the other is QVGA. They’re not important at all, and they won’t be highlighted at all. There’s the usual Quad-Flash Light.

The rear camera will record videos at a maximum of 2K at 30 fps. It seems to be the same camera as on Infinix NOTE 12i.

The selfie camera at the front is 16MP.

Battery and Fast Charging:

The Phone features a 5000mAh battery. It also supports 33W fast charging through the Type-C port. It is the same battery size and fast charging we’ve come to expect with the NOTE series and Camon series from Infinix and TECNO.

It is unclear if the Pro version will offer any faster charging options. The fastest Infinix has ever gone is 45W charging with the Infinix Zero X Pro.

  1. Very useless company
Lots of gadgets with no updates at all. I used to love Infinix phones but not now. Imagine buying a very expressive phone like zero 6 pro but with no updates or upgrades…very disappointing.
