Sendy has announced it is joining efforts with Google for a program – Google Hustle Academy – meant to empower micro, small and medium businesses in Africa. Sendy is a tech company that builds fulfilment infrastructure solutions for e-commerce. Thousands of companies of all sizes use Sendy’s platform and APIs to deliver goods to consumers and retailers.
Google Hustle Academy will be targeting MSMEs across Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. There will be expert training on business strategy and development, digital marketing, and financial planning.
Participants will also have access to key industry leaders and master classes on business to help them create opportunities, boost their business growth, and create jobs across the region.
The role of Sendy in this program will be to provide fulfilment and logistics support for the participating businesses. The company will also offer one on one membership so as to enable participants learn and build capacity to operate their businesses successfully.

The program also seeks to empower MSMEs to learn how to identify new markets, access funding opportunities and pitch for success.

The free weeklong online bootcamp targets to support 5000 MSME’s by helping them scale and grow through positioning for investment, increasing revenue and building sustainable business for the future.
