OPPO has today launched the Find X5 in the Kenyan market. The device has a recommended retail price of KES 99,999 for the 8GB RAM model with 256GB Storage. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Pre-orders are immediately open running to June 30th 2022. From July 1st 2022, you will be able to buy the phone from OPPO retail stores.
Customers who pre-order the device will get a free 30W VOOC Wireless Charger. This will be a good addition to the included 80W charger that comes with the phone, charging the 4800mAh cell from 0-100% in just over 30mins.
The flagship phone brings a set of cameras which are powered by OPPO’s new MariSilicon X imaging processor. This chipset enables features like the 4K Ultra-Night videos. The camera system consists of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, another 50MP camera for ultra-wide shots, and a 13MP shooter for telephoto shots. There’s a 32MP front selfie camera.
The phone’s standout features include the 120Hz 10bit Display, Superior 5G access, 80W super VOOC charging, 30W wireless charging, and its IP54 Water and Dust resistance rating.
In terms of design, OPPO has built a good looking devices with what the company describes as Ultra-Premium finish. The whole body is made of glass with a metal chassis. The display curves on the sides, and the back has a matte finish. The phone is available in Black or White. It has a frosted finish to give a beautiful, silky lustre, which reflects light in a nice way, and feels nice on the hand.
The company says, for this generation of the Find X series, they’ve taken a renewed focus not just on display quality, but how the eyes see. The Find X5 comes equipped with an advanced 360° Smart Antenna 3.0 that keeps you connected, whichever way you hold your phone.
