OPPO will be one of the first OEMs to offer Android 13 to its customers. The company says it will be rolling out ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 to its devices starting with the OPPO Find N and the OPPO Find X5 Pro.
The two devices will be receiving the Android 13 Beta Update.
The company says it has been working with Android to deliver the best operating system experience with ColorOS.
ColorOS 13 integrates with Android 13‘s underlying safety and privacy features and offers customization options similar to Google’s Material You. The beta version is for limited users only and will be released on a batch by batch basis. If you have a compatible device, you can check for “Trial versions” under system updates.
OPPO’s devices usually have a period of support as follows:
- Find X series: 3 System Upgrades plus 4 years Security Updates
- Reno series: 2 System Upgrades plus 4 years Security Updates
- F series: 2 System Upgrades plus 4 years Security Updates
- A series: 1 System Upgrade plus 4 years Security Updates
So depending on your device, you can check when it was launched and see if you’ll be receiving the update later on through to 2023.
