Carrefour is celebrating its 7th anniversary with a special campaign called “Asante Mara Saba!” The campaign, which will run from May 24th to June 6th, aims to thank customers for their loyalty and support over the past seven years. As part of the campaign, Carrefour is offering customers the chance to win a free shopping experience in an exciting spin-the-wheel lucky draw.
During the two-week campaign period, over 1,500 lucky customers will have the opportunity to check out free-of-charge. Winners will be selected randomly at the cashier checkout counters, where Carrefour colleagues will spin a wheel to determine the counter number. The selected customers will have their entire shopping bill paid for by Carrefour, with no limit on the winning transactions. Each day, 110 winners will be chosen, ensuring that a significant number of customers get to enjoy this special treat.
Christophe Orcet, the Regional Director of Carrefour – East Africa, expressed his gratitude to the customers for their support and loyalty. He stated, “The ‘Asante Mara Saba!’ campaign gives us the opportunity to say thank you to Kenya for the successful 7 years and to give back to our customers.” With this initiative, Carrefour aims to make its anniversary celebrations truly memorable and create a positive impact on its customers.
In addition to the spin-the-wheel lucky draw, Carrefour is offering exceptional discounts on a wide range of products, both in-store and online through the MAF Carrefour App. Customers can take advantage of daily offers and great discounts on groceries, household items, personal care and hygiene products, and electronics. These special promotions are designed to provide customers with even more reasons to celebrate Carrefour’s 7th anniversary.
Over the past seven years, Carrefour says it has established itself as a leader in retail innovation and technology. It has continuously improved convenience through online shopping and was the first retailer in Kenya to introduce self-checkout services. Carrefour’s commitment to innovation has contributed to its growth and success in the Kenyan market.
Furthermore, Carrefour says it has made significant contributions to the local community through its charitable initiatives. The retailer has supported education, environmental sustainability, and other social protection initiatives. Through the “Round Up Your Bill” initiative, Carrefour and its customers have contributed millions of shillings towards the construction of new facilities, renovations, and donations to schools, children’s homes, and elderly care centers. The retailer has also partnered with organizations like the Kenya Red Cross to provide essential food items to families in need.
With 19 stores across the country, Carrefour says it has created over 2,000 direct job opportunities and has established a network of 700 local suppliers and partners, contributing to the growth of the Kenyan economy. Customers can participate in Carrefour’s anniversary celebrations by visiting any Carrefour Kenya store, accessing the MAF Carrefour App, or engaging with the retailer on its social media platforms.
As Carrefour marks its 7th anniversary in Kenya, it continues to prioritize customer satisfaction, innovation, and community engagement. The “Asante Mara Saba!” campaign is a testament to Carrefour’s commitment to its customers and its desire to celebrate this milestone with them.
