Infinix SMART 8 arrives for Black Friday with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage at KES 16,000

The Infinix SMART 8 has been launched in Kenya as a successor to the Infinix Smart 7, which was introduced in March of this year. The device arrives just in time for Black Friday. It offers significant upgrades over its predecessor while remaining a budget-friendly option. This new model is available in two variations: a 128GB version with up to 8GB of expandable RAM and a 64GB version with 4GB RAM.

Design-wise, the Infinix Smart 8 features dual rear cameras and a quad flash, with the camera module positioned in the top left corner of the back panel. The phone boasts a textured rear panel for a comfortable grip and a front camera housed in a center-aligned hole-punch cutout at the top of the display.

The handset sports a 6.6-inch HD+ Sunlight Readable display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 500 nits. It supports USB Type-C connectivity and comes with UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. Notably, it is the first in its segment to be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Infinix Smart 8, particularly the 128GB + 8GB model, is priced at Ksh 15999 in Kenya. It is available in three color options: Timber Black, Shiny Gold, and Crystal Green. This pricing positions the Infinix Smart 8 as an accessible option for budget-conscious consumers, especially during the Black Friday shopping period.
