OPPO’s Reno 11 Series has officially been launched in the Kenyan market. The series, which OPPO touts for its camera capabilities and stylish design, includes two devices: The Reno 11 and the Reno 11 Pro. The official retail price for the two devices is KES 67,999 for the Reno 11 and KES 85,999 for the Reno 11 Pro, which is quite the jump in pricing compared to the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro.
During the exclusive pre-order period running from 26th January to 31st February 2024, customers preordering will receive a special OPPO branded gift box. The devices will be available online through Jumia and Kilimall, and offline at OPPO branded stores.
Reno 11 Specifications:
OPPO says the new Reno 11 stands out with its nature-inspired design, available in Wave Green and Rock Grey colours. These vibrant yet sophisticated choices reflect a new design direction for the series. The device maintains a lightweight, 3D curved body, weighing just 181g and measuring 7.99mm, featuring dual Sunshine Rings for camera decoration. The highlight of the Reno 11 is its Ultra-clear Portrait Camera System, which includes a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, a 32MP Telephoto Portrait Camera, and a 112° Ultra-wide-angle Camera, along with a 32MP Ultra-Clear Selfie Camera. These features ensure superior image quality in various lighting conditions and enable users to capture professional portraits.
In terms of performance, the Reno 11 is equipped with a 67W SUPERVOOCTM Flash charge, a large 5,000mAh battery, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 platform. It boasts a substantial 12GB + 256GB memory and storage configuration, with up to 12GB of RAM Expansion. The Reno 11 also introduces LinkBoost for stable connections and features Dual Stereo Speakers with Ultra Volume Mode for an immersive entertainment experience.
Reno 11 Pro Specifications:
The Reno 11 Pro, in contrast, offers a flagship-level camera experience in a thin, light, and aesthetically pleasing package. Available in Pearl White and Rock Grey, it features a 93% screen-to-body ratio and weighs just 181g. The camera system of the Reno11 Pro includes a 32MP Ultra-Clear Selfie Camera with an IMX709 sensor and a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera with an IMX890 sensor, along with a 32MP Telephoto Portrait Camera. The device also offers 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, a 4,600mAh battery, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 platform with a 12GB + 512GB memory configuration.
Both devices run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, offering a blend of style, security, productivity, and longevity. ColorOS 14 introduces features like File Dock for easy drag-and-drop access, Smart Touch for capturing images and text from screenshots, and Smart Image Matting for creating stickers or sharing images directly. The operating system also includes Trinity Engine for enhanced performance, ROM Vitalisation for efficient storage management, and CPU Vitalisation for optimized processing.
