Apple has officially released iOS 18.1.1, a minor but essential update for iPhone users. The new update, launched on November 19, 2024, aims to address critical security vulnerabilities and improve overall system stability. It comes just three weeks after the introduction of iOS 18.1, which debuted the highly anticipated Apple Intelligence features.

While this update doesn’t introduce new features, it focuses on fixing critical security flaws and optimizing performance. According to Apple, the update addresses two major security vulnerabilities:
- JavaScriptCore Vulnerability (CVE-2024-44308):
This issue allowed malicious web content to execute arbitrary code. It has been fixed with improved checks. - WebKit Vulnerability (CVE-2024-44309):
A flaw related to cookie management could have been exploited for cross-site scripting attacks. Apple resolved this with enhanced state management.
