AfricArena has officially opened applications for startups to pitch at its upcoming Johannesburg Summit 2025, set to take place on March 26, 2025. This marks the first stop in the AfricArena Tour 2025, which seeks to showcase Africa’s most promising tech startups to investors and industry leaders.
A Platform for Africa’s Top Startups
The Johannesburg Fintech, Deep Tech & Enterprise Summit will offer selected startups the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a global audience. Startups looking to gain visibility, attract investment, and engage with potential partners are encouraged to apply.
Prior to the main summit, AfricArena has scheduled two key pre-events:
- March 23-24, 2025 – AfricArise Founder’s Bootcamp, where selected startups will receive training to refine their pitches and enhance investor readiness.
- March 25, 2025 – VC Night & AfricArena Wired Speed Connect, a high-impact networking session connecting startups with investors, Limited Partners (LPs), and General Partners (GPs).
Call for Speakers and Sponsorships
AfricArena is also inviting industry leaders, investors, and experts to speak at the event. Organizations looking to support Africa’s innovation ecosystem can explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities, offering brands a chance to engage with key players in the tech and investment space.
State of Tech in Africa 2025 Panel at Amazon Africa HQ
Ahead of the summit, AfricArena will also host an in-person panel discussion on the State of Tech in Africa 2025 Report at Amazon Africa’s headquarters in Cape Town on February 20, 2025. The discussion will feature industry leaders analyzing key trends shaping Africa’s tech landscape.
How to Apply
Startups can submit their applications via the AfricArena website. The deadline for applications has not yet been announced, but early submissions are encouraged. For more details, visit AfricArena’s official website.
