Jasiri Growth Accelerator Opens Applications for Startups in Kenya and Rwanda

The Jasiri Growth Accelerator (JGA) is now accepting applications for its latest cohort, providing startups with $75,000 in funding along with strategic support to help them grow. The program is designed for startups in Kenya and Rwanda that have already achieved product-market fit and are working on market-creating innovations – businesses that solve complex challenges and provide new solutions to underserved populations.

What the Jasiri Program Offers

Startups selected for the accelerator will receive:

• $75,000 in funding (a combination of direct capital and non-financial support)
• Guidance from venture builders to refine business strategies

• Legal and market validation assistance

Selection Process

The application process includes several stages:

1. Submit Application – Startups complete and submit their applications via the Accelerator App.
2. Shortlisting – Applications are reviewed, and shortlisted startups move to the next stage.
3. Assessment Panels – Selected startups participate in panel interviews.
4. Gap Analysis and Development Planning – Startups work with venture builders to refine business strategies.
5. Investment Committee Review – A final evaluation is conducted.
6. Final Selection and Funding – Successful startups are invited to join the program and receive funding.
