Hayo, a global digital service provider with a strong presence across Africa and the Middle East, has joined the Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) Community. The move marks a step forward in collaborative efforts to improve international digital infrastructure and close the connectivity gap in underserved regions.

Supporting Global Infrastructure with Local Experience

With over 30 years of experience in digital communications and more than 500 service provider relationships globally, Hayo brings extensive expertise to the GLF table. The company delivers tailored digital solutions to a wide range of partners including governments, mobile network operators, enterprises, and regulators. Its portfolio includes services in voice, messaging, CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service), Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity.

Now, as part of the GLF Community, Hayo will work alongside over 120 international members who represent key players across the telecom and digital infrastructure ecosystem — from Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

Shared Goals: Connectivity, Innovation, and Sustainability

The GLF Community is focused on accelerating universal and sustainable connectivity while fostering innovation across digital infrastructure. Its collaborative model encourages members to share knowledge, resources, and insights to collectively shape the future of global connectivity.

Feraz Ahmed, CEO at Hayo, emphasized the importance of the partnership:

“We’re excited to join the GLF and work together within an expert community to tackle the industry challenges that matter most. We believe in the potential of digital communications to drive positive change, and that starts with serving the underserved with innovative solutions.”

According to the GLF, Hayo’s inclusion is timely and strategic.

“Hayo’s approach to accelerating digital transformation in underdeveloped regions aligns closely with our goals for universal, sustainable connectivity,” said Joshua Littlefair, Head of Membership at the GLF.

Bridging the Digital Divide Through Collaboration

The partnership underscores a wider trend in the global tech sector — a shift towards collaborative infrastructure models to scale digital access in emerging markets. By contributing its regional experience, especially across Africa and the Middle East, Hayo aims to support the GLF’s mission to create practical, inclusive connectivity frameworks.

The GLF’s ongoing initiatives include community-driven programmes and resources aimed at transforming how digital infrastructure is designed, deployed, and managed. Through these initiatives, members like Hayo are expected to play a key role in shaping policies, technical standards, and investment strategies that support digital transformation in underserved areas.

Why This Matters

Access to reliable, secure, and scalable digital infrastructure remains unevenly distributed, particularly across parts of Africa and the Global South. Collaborations like the one between Hayo and the GLF not only highlight the challenges of the digital divide but also propose pathways to solve them — through experience-sharing, technology standardization, and coordinated development.
