Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Enters the Race for the World’s Thinnest 3D Curved Smartphone

“Thin, yet Everything” — Infinix Prepares to Disrupt the Ultra-Slim Smartphone Market

Infinix is gearing up for the global launch of its new HOT 60 Series, and at the center of attention is the HOT 60 Pro+. The brand is entering the pre-teaser phase with one clear message – it wants to spark buzz and challenge the current frontrunners in slim smartphone design. And it’s doing so by promising the world’s slimmest 3D curved screen smartphone.

With a body measuring just 5.95mm in thickness, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ aims to set a new benchmark for ultra-thin smartphones. This makes it thinner than most modern smartphones and only 0.15mm thicker than Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, which comes in at 5.8mm. Despite this, the Infinix device is actually lighter – 154.6g compared to 163.8g for the Galaxy S25 Edge.

A Design-First Approach That Challenges the Flagships

The campaign for the Hot 60 Pro+ is cleverly timed to ride the wave of interest generated by Samsung’s latest S25 series. The messaging is direct – Infinix is not just joining the conversation around ultra-thin smartphones, it wants to lead it.

Images circulating online show comparisons between the Hot 60 Pro+ and both an iPhone and Galaxy S25 Edge. One particular image illustrates the phone being as thick as just four credit cards stacked together. Another angle shows three coins stacked beside the phone – and the Infinix still appears slimmer.

This aggressive push in design aims to continue the momentum Infinix built last year when it introduced what was then the world’s slimmest 3D curved smartphone.

The Battery Question

While official specs are still under wraps, there’s growing curiosity around battery performance. A phone this thin naturally raises concerns about battery capacity. The Galaxy S25 Edge only manages a 3,900mAh battery at a 5.8mm thickness.

However, Infinix seems to be keeping things under control. A source quoted by GSMArena claims that the Hot 60 Pro+ will “pack a massive battery”. Considering the previous model – the Hot 50 Pro+ – was 6.8mm thick and housed a 5,000mAh battery, the new device could feature high-density battery tech, possibly silicon-carbon (Si/C), which has recently become more common in slim smartphones.

Potential Configurations

Although still unconfirmed, leaks suggest the Hot 60 Pro+ will be available in multiple variants, including 4G and 5G options. Rumors point to a Helio G200 chip for the 4G version and a Dimensity 7xxx series chip for the 5G variant. Memory configurations spotted in leaks include 256GB with 8/12GB RAM and a higher-end 512GB with 8/12GB RAM option.

What to Expect in the Coming Weeks

The global pre-teaser campaign for the Hot 60 Pro+ is themed “Thin, yet Everything.” It aims to do more than just hype the thinness of the phone. It invites comparisons, generates debate, and sets the stage for Infinix to position itself not just as a budget brand, but as a real competitor in the design-focused smartphone market.

With hands-on videos already making the rounds, including one by UniverseIce, it’s clear that this isn’t vaporware – devices are already out there being tested and compared.

The official launch date remains unknown, but if this pace continues, we can expect more concrete details very soon.
