Infinix has unveiled the GT 30 Pro in Nairobi, the third-generation GT device built around sustained frame rates and tighter control. The headline features are an All-Day Full FPS System plus GT Trigger shoulder inputs integrated into the frame. The phone keeps a mid-range price while pushing tournament-ready performance, including official 120FPS support for MLBB and PUBG MOBILE. Pricing starts at KES 39,999, with 256+8GB, 256+12GB, and 512+12GB options.

Cooling, power and the Gaming Master Edition

To hold high frame rates over long sessions, Infinix pairs the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate 5.5G chipset with 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Cooling and up to 24GB extended RAM. A new Gaming Master Edition bundles MagCharge Cooler, a snap-on magnetic fan that also enables “Draco Mode” for simultaneous wireless charging and active cooling, plus a thermally-optimized MagCase. The aim is lower heat, better ergonomics, and consistent performance during competitive play.

GT Trigger: integrated shoulder inputs without extra bulk

GT Trigger adds two capacitive shoulder buttons with low-latency response. You can map them for aiming, firing, gear switching, or skill activation, and even long-press both to launch a preset game. Beyond gaming, the triggers work as shortcuts for camera, media, or app launches. Paired with 2160Hz touch sampling, 240Hz reporting, and a six-axis gyro, the GT 30 Pro supports precise tap and tilt control for racers, shooters, and action titles.

Smarter tools for in-game and beyond

Infinix layers in AI utilities for both play and daily tasks. Magic Voice Changer, dynamic backlighting with 14+ gaming modes, and XBOOST AI performance tuning target game responsiveness. AI Magic Box adds helpers for titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, including dialogue skip, auto-loot, and recovery controls. Outside gaming, One-Tap Infinix AI, powered by Folax and DeepSeek R1, offers document summaries, cross-language call translation, AI wallpaper creation, contextual search, and quick photo edits.

Display, audio, and haptics tuned for immersion

Up front is a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, HDR support, 2160Hz PWM dimming, TÜV Rheinland eye-comfort certification, and peak brightness up to 4500 nits. X-Haptics 4D vibration enhances feedback, Audio Boost amplifies sound cues, and Game Visual Boost tweaks visibility while reducing eye strain. XArena Game Space gathers distraction-free settings and toggles in one place.

“Mechanical Light Waves” design

The GT 30 Pro leans into a cyber-mechanical look with CNC machining, sci-fi textures, and a durable composite shell. A signature “Mechanical Light Waves” system adds electrochromic accents and circuit-style patterns that react across 14 usage scenarios with 20+ effects, from calls and charging to in-game events like kills or damage bursts. Colorways include Shadow Ash, Blade White, and RGB-lit Dark Flare.

Battery, charging, connectivity, and software support

A 5500mAh cell supports 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Bypass Charging 2.0 routes power directly to the motherboard during play, which reduces heat and preserves battery health. Connectivity upgrades include 5.5G support, Super Wi-Fi 2.0, and a 360-degree antenna layout. The phone ships with XOS 15 for faster launches and smarter memory use, and it is slated for 2 years of Android version updates plus 3 years of security patches.
