The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is now official in Kenya. It is pitched as a large-screen tablet for hybrid work and creative projects, pairing a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Galaxy AI tools, an included S Pen, and long software support. Samsung says the device can slot into study, travel, meetings, and content creation without forcing a laptop everywhere.
A workstation-class display in a thin body
Samsung fits a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel at 2960 × 1848 with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Vision Booster and an anti-reflective coating aim to keep the screen viewable outdoors while eye-comfort features reduce strain during long sessions. At 5.4 mm thick, the chassis stays portable despite the screen size.
S Pen productivity, now with smarter notes
The S Pen ships in the box and supports low-latency, pressure-sensitive input for handwriting, sketching, and markup. In Samsung Notes, AI features help speed up admin work. Note Assist can transcribe, summarise, and translate notes. Handwriting Assist straightens text and fixes spacing for cleaner pages. Sketch to Image lets you turn rough outlines into finished visuals in different styles.
Built for heavy apps and multitasking
Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ with faster CPU, GPU, and NPU performance than the Tab S9 Ultra, plus options up to 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. A microSD slot supports expansion. These specs target creative suites, multi-window workflows, and on-device AI features without slowdowns.

Battery, charging, and sound
An 11,200 mAh battery is rated for long video and work sessions. When you need a top-up, 45 W fast charging gets you back quickly. A quad-speaker system includes AI-enhanced Dialogue Boost to make speech clearer during calls, movies, and shows.
Durable enough for real life
The frame uses Armor Aluminum and the tablet is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. That combination should help the S10 Ultra survive commutes, classrooms, and occasional outdoor use.
Galaxy AI, SmartThings, and a faster workflow
Galaxy AI is built into the experience. Circle to Search supports quick research from any screen. Notes Assist can auto-organise meetings. Sketch to Image and AI editing tools give creators rapid ideation. If you use the Book Cover Keyboard, a dedicated Galaxy AI Key provides one-tap access to these tools. The tablet also acts as a SmartThings hub, with 3D Map View and Energy monitoring for connected devices.

Long-term support
Samsung lists support for 8 years of operating system upgrades and 7 years of security updates, paired with a 24-month warranty. For institutions and long-term buyers, that reduces total cost of ownership and extends device life.
Who should consider it
- Students get three-panel PDF views and smart note-taking, which are great for lectures and revision.
- Creators can sketch, generate references, and edit on the go.
- Professionals can manage meetings, documents, and presentations on a device that can replace a laptop for many tasks.
