OPPO Find X10 has a 7,150mAh battery in Europe and 8,000mAh in India and the UAE

OPPO launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max worldwide this week, and the phone you get depends on where you buy it. The launch release promises “up to” an 8,000mAh battery. OPPO’s own pages for the UK, Germany, France and Spain list 7,150mAh instead, on both models. Its pages for India, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines list 8,000mAh, which is also what its China page lists. That’s 850mAh, about a tenth, less battery in Europe.

A footnote in the release does admit it. Battery capacity varies by country and region, it says, and in certain markets the phones come with a dual-cell 7,150mAh battery, meaning two cells wired together instead of one. What the release and the spec pages don’t give is a reason, or a list of which markets get which. The Find X9 had no such difference. OPPO’s Kenya, UK, India and China pages all list 7,025mAh for it.

The gap holds in every figure OPPO lists. It gives each battery two ways, a typical capacity and a lower rated one, which is the minimum it stands behind, and both drop by about a tenth. The Find X10 is 8,000mAh typical and 7,770mAh rated in India, against 7,150mAh and 6,960mAh in the UK. The Pro Max goes from 7,790mAh rated to the same 6,960mAh. Watt-hours measure the energy itself, so they compare better than mAh, and the Find X10 falls from 30Wh to 26.89Wh. On paper the chip, the screen and the 80W wired charging are the same in both versions. So the European phones ask the same work of a smaller battery, and how much shorter a day that gives will only show in testing.

The box is different too. OPPO’s UK, German, French and Spanish pages list a phone, a USB cable, a SIM tool and paperwork, with no charger and no case. The pages for India, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and China all list a charger and a case. The UK phones are lighter as well, at 210g against 216g for the Find X10 and 226g against 233g for the Pro Max in Luna White.

Storage and software shift by market as well. India’s Find X10 page lists no eSIM while the UK, European, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines pages list it. AI Call Guard, which detects synthetic voices and AI face swaps during calls, is only available in Indonesia, India and Thailand. AI Photo Agent, the photo-editing assistant, is rolling out gradually, with monthly usage limits that vary by country.

What it means in Kenya

OPPO Kenya’s phone list has no Find X10 yet, and OPPO hasn’t announced a Kenyan date, price or version. Last November the Find X9 went on sale in Kenya on 20th November at KES 139,999, about three weeks after its global launch on 28th October. If OPPO repeats that gap, the Find X10 would reach Nairobi in mid-November. That’s our guess. The Find X9’s Kenyan page lists a charger and a case in the box, but nothing says the Find X10 will follow it.

If you’re buying one abroad or from an importer, ask for the battery capacity and the box contents in writing. The UK and India pages carry the same model numbers, CPH2911 for the Find X10 and CPH2913 for the Pro Max, so the number can’t tell you which version you’ve got. A UAE unit should be 8,000mAh with a charger, and a UK or German one 7,150mAh without.

For scale, the UK launch prices are about £1,250 for the 512GB Find X10 and £1,500 for the Pro Max, or about KES 217,000 and KES 261,000 at GBP 1 to KES 173.9 on 22nd October 2026. Kenya has its own pricing, and the Find X9 started there at KES 139,999.

OPPO put the regional battery difference in footnote 3 of its release and left buyers to read the spec page for their own country. Kenya doesn’t have one yet. Until it does, treat 8,000mAh as unconfirmed for a Kenyan unit, and don’t assume the box holds a charger.
