ZTE Blade Z Max; Dual Cameras, 4080mAh battery, Snapdragon 435 for $130

Exactly one year ago we saw ZTE release the ZMax Pro which I called the best cheap phone money could buy. It was meant to cost $179 but there was a deal that made it $99. And this year ZTE have updated the line. The big problem then, and even now, with the new Blaze ZMax, is that getting the device to Kenya will be a problem. Unless maybe through Avechi.com.

Anyway, the ZTE Blade ZMax, at approx Ksh. 14,000 could be the best spec’d low budget smartphone. Why? ZTE has packed really good specs in here.

Infinix NOTE 40 Series Kenya

At a similar price point in Kenya we have devices like the Infinix Note 4, TECNO L9 Plus, TECNO Camon CX Air, Infinix S2 Pro and Infinix Note 3. All of which, honestly, shouldn’t be compared to the Blade ZMax. None of these budget device has gotten through giving us dual rear cameras, remember.

What are your thoughts: Would you get a Blade ZMax if you had the opportunity?
