Huawei is teasing the new Y5 2019 pointing to a launch soon. This device may not come with the Prime branding so there should be a difference between the Y5 and the Y5 Prime 2019. It is confusing for me given the Y9 2019 launched last year in Kenya is not the same as the Y9 Prime 2019 that’s also slated to launch soon.

The Amber Brown version is the same one we saw with the Y6 Prime 2019 meaning if you wanted that fake leather design, you can get it for less with the Y5. That was a major decision shifting point for many as the design of a device really impacts some people’s decisions.
