Huawei Kenya recently announced they were slashing prices of their Y-series 2019 by 20%. That was towards the end of July, and it was clear that the offer was on while stocks lasted in Huawei Retail Shops across the country.
In that announcement, the Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 was to cost you KES. 12,499 down from the recommended retail price at launch of KES. 13,490. That announcement wasn’t meant to affect Safaricom Shop prices.
But Huawei have announced that the Y6 Prime 2019 will now cost you KES. 12,299 in Safaricom Shops countrywide. This is one of the times a phone will be much cheaper in a Safaricom Shop than in other retail outlets. Safaricom Shop devices are normally a little more expensive.
NOTE: All Safaricom Shop phones use ONE SIM Card.
With this price cut, the Y6 Prime 2019 is now not only more fairly priced in terms of value for money, but it also now competes well against devices like the TECNO Spark 3 PRO.
