Vivo Y19 with Triple Rear cameras, 5000mAh battery launching in Kenya soon

Vivo is set to bring the VIVO Y19 to Kenya this month. If you read my post last year on Vivo’s growth in the market since setting up shop, you already knew this device was coming. The new thing is that there’s now confirmation from the company themselves.

The new Vivo Y19 comes to complement the existing Y-series that are already in the market. These include:

  • Vivo Y17 – KES. 24,999
  • Vivo Y15 – KES. 19,999
  • Vivo Y12 – KES. 14,999
  • Vivo Y90 – KES. 10,999

The Y19 is expected to be more expensive than the other devices being that it packs 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and the 12nm Helio P65. Like I said in the article linked above, all Vivo needs to do is get pricing right so as to attract a crowd of devout buyers.

My first Vivo device to use, which happens to be my current daily driver, is the Vivo V17 Pro. My review of it is going up soon, so subscribe for that if you want to understand the Vivo user experience, and my full thoughts on their devices. It is their top top device in the market, so you’re in for a good ride.

The Vivo Y19 comes with a triple camera setup, a single selfie camera, a 6.53 inch FHD display, a 5000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging, and runs Android 9 Pie. That may be it’s biggest issue given we are already seeing so many devices with Android 10, plus it’s 2020.
