Huawei Kenya’s second device without Google Apps is set to be available officially soon. But checking the Instagram page, you’ll see Huawei has already opened pre-orders for the device.
For KES. 30,000, you’ll get the Nova 7i, and a gift bundle including the Huawei Band 4 and some Bluetooth headphones.
The Nova 7i is powered by the Kirin 810 chipset. There is 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There are 4 cameras at the back which include: a 48MP Main Camera, an 8MP 120° Ultra-Wide Angle lens, a 2MP Portrait Bokeh lens, and finally a 2MP 4cm Macro lens. At the front, there’s a single 16MP selfie camera.
The device has a 4200mAh battery and it supports 40W SuperCharge, which charges significantly faster than a standard 18W from other phones. Huawei says it only takes half an hour to get the device recharged to 70%.
The device runs Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1. It is the first straight out of the box Android 10 device from Huawei Kenya this year as the Y6s, the Nova 5T, and the Y7p all came running Android 9 Pie.
