How to pre-order the Galaxy NOTE 20 Ultra in Kenya

Pre-order for Samsung’s latest flagship devices – the NOTE 20 and the NOTE 20 Ultra – are now live in Kenya. The preorder period runs from 14th August to 8 pm 28th August. And customers stand to get free items (gift hampers) should they successfully pre-order the new smartphones.

Samsung already shared the recommended retail prices of the NOTE 20 and the NOTE 20 Ultra which are the KES. 107,000 and KES. 137,000 respectively. From the Samsung website, it seems the prices set are for the 256GB models. Below you will find the gifts pre-order customers stand to receive, and the process of pre-ordering:

Pre-order Gift Hampers:

  1. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra pre-orders will get the all-new (beans) Buds Live valued at KES. 20, 199
  2. Galaxy Note 20 pre-orders will get Buds+ valued at KES. 16, 999

How to pre-order:

  1. Decide which device you want between the NOTE 20 and the NOTE 20 Ultra.
  2. Click on this link to see the stores from where you can place a pre-order.
  3. Choose a store near you, and call their number to place an order.
  4. Make a payment of at least 10% of the device you’re buying. For example, KES. 13,700 for the NOTE 20 Ultra.
  5. Remember the price of devices may vary from store to store.
  6. The remaining 90% will be paid on collection. But you can also choose to pay in full if you want.
  7. You have the option of cancelling pre-order before 28th August 2020 when pre-orders close.
  8. Collection of devices start from August 29th 2020.
  9. Collection of pre-order gifts/benefits will be through authorised stores listed here, and one requires the Samsung Members Application/
  10. Devices must be collected within 14 days of notification.

Samsung says that the number of devices available for purchase is limited, and as such, placing a Pre-order of the device is not a guarantee that you will be successful in getting these gifts, whether or not full payment has been made. It is a first-come-first-serve type of situation. The full terms and conditions are listed here.
