Infinix HOT 10 with Huge 5200mAh battery now in Kenya

Update: Hot 10 Review:

The first time we talked about the HOT 10, it was when it showed up as a listing on Google Play. This was despite it being quite early for it to be making an appearance since the HOT 9 Series had just launched a few months prior. Well, it appears, the listing was just right because Infinix Kenya has today announced the availability of their new Infinix HOT 10 in the Kenyan market. Price? It starts at KES. 13,999.

There are two models under the Infinix HOT 10 Series:

• The Infinix HOT 10 and
• The Infinix HOT 10 LITE

Infinix HOT 10:

The HOT 10 is quite the leap in the HOT series because of a couple of reasons:

• The new Helio G70 Processor
• The new RAM and Storage options

The HOT 10 features a huge 6.78 inch display. The resolution is 720×1640, which isn’t Full HD. There’s a punch-hole housing the 8MP front camera. At the back there’s a 16MP Quad Camera setup.

The device is powered by a Helio G70 processor. Infinix says the new chip gives the HOT 10 a 123% upgrade on single CPU frequency and a 64% upgrade on the Multi CPU frequency compared to the previous HOT version. Infinix says the excellent fluency and stability provided by the Helio G70 chip will give users the experience of “Extreme Speed” as they immerse themselves in game play freely, anytime anywhere. 

There’s a 5200mAh battery in-built. This is a huge battery, but despite its size, Infinix says the device is just 9mm thin. If you’re wondering how long the battery will last you, Infinix says they’ve tested it out, and the device has maintained about 80% charge with over 800 charge-discharge circulations. This is equal to about 2 to 3 years of use. Meaning you will still be having pretty long life battery 3 years into using your phone.

There will be a couple of RAM and Storage models for the HOT 10. For the base price, you will get the 3GB of RAM model with 64GB storage. There’s also a model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, another with the same 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, and another with 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage.

Infinix HOT 10 Lite:

The HOT 10 Lite will be competing with many of the sub $100 phones which also feature similar specs. The HOT 10 Lite’s Price is set at KES. 10,499.

For this you’re getting a phone with a 6.78 HD+ display, a Helio A20 Processor, a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging, 13MP Triple rear cameras, an 8MP front camera, and either 2GB or 3GB of RAM with either 32GB or 64GB internal storage.

XOS:

Both devices come with Android 10 and XOS 7. Infinix Brand Manager in Kenya has said, “XOS7.0 features a new visual design with trendy and rich colour to enhance excellent user experience. It is not only combined with intelligent features such as Smart Scanner, Ear-sensor Receiver, Ulife etc., but also boasts outstanding performance and the latest native Android features.”

The devices should be available countrywide in the coming weeks, and through online shops.
