Samsung will this April be running a discount for the Galaxy S21 Series in the Kenyan market. The devices which have been available for a while now locally will all be receiving an approximated 9% discount. This cuts across from the S21 Ultra to the normal S21. According to Samsung, the offer is on while stocks last.
These are the new prices according to Samsung:
- Galaxy S21 128GB Model: Will retail at KES. 89,999 down from KES. 99,999
- Galaxy S21 256GB Model: Will retail at KES. 95,399 down from KES. 105,999
- Galaxy S21+ 256GB Model: Will retail at KES. 112,499 down from KES. 124,999
- Galaxy S21 Ultra 256GB Model: Will retail at KES. 138,599 down from KES. 153,999
- Galaxy S21 Ultra 512GB Model: Will retail at KES. 153,199 down from KES. 169,999
If there’ve been other significant discounts by Samsung before, this is the first one we’ve taken notice of. Usually, prices for Samsung devices locally stay almost the same throughout the year after launch. That sometimes makes it easier for people to opt to buy abroad than locally.
Remember that the Galaxy S21 Series in Kenya run on Samsung’s Exynos Chipset. They all support 5G and should be able to – soon, hopefully – access Safaricom’s 5G network.
