Vivo Smartphone is partnering with an e-commerce site to enable online purchases

Vivo Smartphone in Kenya has today announced it is partnering with an online retailer in Kenya called Jambo Shoppe. The partnership, vivo explains, is aimed to help the smartphone brand increase its footprint in the Kenyan market, and to provide a secure and convenient way for Kenyan consumers interested in vivo devices to shop online.

Vivo explains that the move aims to provide accessibility of their products to consumers who are nowadays opting for online shopping over physical walk-ins. This is backed up by data from a MasterCard study on consumer spending in February 2021, where it was revealed that 79% of consumers in Kenya are shopping more online since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The smartphone brand says this partnership makes them more confident of increased visibility of their products to potential customers.

Currently on Jambo Shoppe you can get the vivo Y12s, vivo V19, vivo Y1s, and vivo Y20. vivo promises that more devices will be available on the site with time.

Recently, Jambo Shoppe did launch a mobile app both for iOS and Android devices which seeks to offer solutions to the rising number of shoppers online. According to Statista, worldwide smartphone users have surpassed three billion and is forecast to further grow – by several hundred million in the next few years with over 2 billion people using it for e-commerce transactions.
