Tomorrow, 25th June 2021, Xiaomi Kenya will be bringing two new phones to the Kenyan market. These will be the Redmi NOTE 10 5G, and the Redmi NOTE 10S. The launch will be virtual and will be streamed on Xiaomi Kenya’s page from 11.30am. As usual, there are prices to be won – including phones.
Since introduction, the Redmi NOTE 9T has been what I’ve considered the cheapest 5G phone in the market. Xiaomi is looking to change this already with the introduction of the new Redmi NOTE 10 5G which the company says will be priced so competitively, it’ll be a no-brainer pick up for many users.
The two new Redmi NOTE 10 devices will be joining the Redmi NOTE 10 PRO. This could be Xiaomi’s biggest line up of devices in one series’ category.
If there’s one thing Xiaomi is really good at, unbeatable even, it’s in offering very good specs at very competitive prices. We’ve seen this to be a fact with very many devices of theirs from the low-end phones to their flagship series. In our recent review of the Redmi NOTE 10 PRO, we called it an ‘Amazing Device!’. No other phone within its price range offers the specs, and the performance of the Redmi NOTE 10 PRO.
The Redmi NOTE 10 5G has a 6.5-inch IPS display supporting 90Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass protection. There’s various RAM options form 4GB to 6GB with either 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 Storage. There’s a 48MP main camera at the back and an 8MP selfie camera. The device runs Android 11, and is powered by the Dimensity 700 5G processor.
The Redmi NOTE 10S on the other hand has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with Gorilla Glass protection. You can configure it in either 6GB or 8GB RAM, plus either 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It comes with a 64MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera. The phone runs Android 11 too and is powered by the Helio G95 processor.
Xiaomi appears to be confident that these two new devices will sell very well thanks to the exciting specs and the very exciting prices. To assure customers of the build quality and long term use of their devices, Xiaomi will be extending warranty for all Redmi NOTE 10 Series of devices to 24+1 Months of cover.
Xiaomi Kenya’s head of marketing, Ramadhan Hassan says, “Thats how confident we are on our #RedmiNote10Series block buster devices. Infact @Xiaomi_Kenya is the 1st and only Smartphone Company in Kenya to extend this to its consumers.”
To win the free giveaways during tomorrow’s launch, participation the online launch event that will stream on Xiaomi Kenya’s Facebook Page. Xiaomi says some lucky viewers will walk away with phones.
