After release of the 2021/22 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), the next stage is checking where you or your child has been placed for Secondary Education. Which high school have they been sent to by the Ministry of Education.

Close to 39,000 students have been placed in National Schools. Over 470,000 joining extra-county and county schools. Over 726,000 are set to join sub-county schools. Another over 2000 will be joining special needs schools. According to Ministry directive, students should report to their respective schools on May 3rd 2022.

Schools can check for the details of the students they’re set to receive from the National Education Management Information System (NEMIS) portal. The government is expecting a 100% transition from primary to secondary school.
