OPPO is set to unveil the Reno 7 Series in the Kenyan market in the coming week. The company says the device brings ‘flagship-level hardware and packs impressive imaging features including Bokeh Flare Portrait, Selfie HDR, AI Portrait enhancement, and much more to help users capture the world in stunning, professional-quality portraits.’
The company promises that the Reno 7 Series will serve as a Portrait Expert with both enhanced camera capabilities and a myriad of features to turn everyone into a professional, allowing them to truly express themselves to the world.
Not only that, OPPO also says that for the first time in the Reno Series, the Reno 7 will be introducing the Micro lens feature that will help you capture the smallest details that your eyes can’t see. It will also be the first smartphone to launch a Micro lens feature in Kenya.
The Bokeh Flare Portrait, OPPO promises, will make the user experience super easy to take photos with beautiful, dream-like bokeh lights as a glittering backdrop. With just one click, the OPPO Reno7 will be able to capture portrait images with rich bokeh light spots that will look just like those taken on high-end DSLR cameras. This remains to be seen in our upcoming reviews.
To add on, OPPO says the Reno 7 features AI Beautification that can accurately recognise and erase blemishes, pimples, acne scars and sunspots, and intelligently retouch skin tones or makeup while keeping other desired features intact in not only selfies but also group photos.
OPPO explains that they’ve exclusively customised the Sony IMX709 sensor, the next generation flagship RGBW sensor for the front camera. This has brought about features like the Selfie HDR allowing the Reno 7’s camera detect light conditions using AI and automatically apply image enhancement algorithms based on the type of conditions detected. This will enables users to easily capture high-quality selfies with natural colours and ultra-fine details.
OPPO has also announced that they will be unveiling the Reno 7 with well-known celebrities such as Bahati, Diana Marua and Wabosha Maxine who will help showcase the phone’s vast features and extensive capabilities.
