The 2022 KCSE results have been announced. Candidates, parents and guardians can now check the results as outlined below via SMS.
According to Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, 1,146 candidates attained Grade A, with over 6,000 candidates attaining Grade A-. A total of 15,682 students attained the B+ Grade. A full breakdown of the grades is available here.
If you have a candidate who sat for the KCSE exams, you can now use your phone to check for their results. Do this by sending the candidate’s Index Number to 20076.
The platform is open to both Safaricom, Airtel, Telkom, Equitel customers, and there’s a 25 Bob charge per SMS.
So to check results:
- Ensure you have more than KES. 25 airtime on your phone.
- On your Message App, Compose Text
- Send SMS with Index Number e.g. 7000001 to 20076
- Wait for the result via SMS.
