OPPO Kenya has announced that it is bringing the Reno 8T to the market on February 16th 2023. This new addition follows up on the Reno 8 Series from last year, with improvements in design, performance and price. There is both a Reno 8T with 5G and one only supporting 4G.

As of now, we don’t have details on pricing for the two new devices. However, we will be having an unboxing and review video soon, so stay tuned for that.

Ambassadors:

OPPO says that to showcase the phone’s combination of style and innovation through outstanding craftsmanship on lightweight and high performance, they have selected three dynamic stars, Willy Paul, Nadia Mukami, and Nameless as the brand ambassadors of the Reno 8T.

“We are thrilled to have Willy Paul, Nameless, and Nadia Mukami onboard for our Reno 8T campaign,” said Fredrique Achieng, PR manager, OPPO Kenya. “These talented stars have constantly invoked a sense of excitement and reaching for greater heights in their respective careers. This resonates well with OPPO and with the new OPPO Reno 8T, we are giving our users a leveled-up experience with the phone. We can’t wait for consumers to experience it.”

Reno 8T specs:

OPPO Reno8 T 5G features a 108MP camera, the first in the Reno series. It also has an exclusive 40x Microlens feature to discover the micro world as it enables users to zoom in on the micro details in their surroundings.

With the new curved display, the phone offers a stylish feel giving users what OPPO terms as a luxurious experience. The phone’s screen is optimised for comfortable use with its slim bezels and hand-friendly curved design, making it ideal for watching movies and playing games.

At the back, the Reno 8T comes with a fiberglass-leather design. OPPO says it was focused on giving the phone an ultra-premium look and feel by removing plastic edging and replacing it with a new leather stitching pattern.

Aside from its Fiberglass-Leather Design, the Reno 8T also features the industry’s first “Orbit Light” hidden inside the camera module that further supplements Reno 8T’s premium appearance and provides further functional features.

OPPO says more details on pricing and availability will come as the device launches.
