Airtel Kenya Refunds Transaction Fees as Airtime in New Campaign

Airtel Money Kenya is running a campaign dubbed ‘Rudishiwa Transaction Fee Campaign’, an initiative set to excite the mobile money landscape in Kenya. This campaign promises to refund Airtel Money customers the withdrawal transaction fees incurred, directly as Airtime. It is a move that will see customers enjoying more value and convenience in their everyday transactions.

Under this campaign, customers withdrawing as little as KES 50 from any Airtel Money agent across the country will receive a refund equivalent to their transaction fees. This offer applies to all withdrawal amounts up to a daily limit of KES 250,000. For instance, a customer who withdraws KES 1,000, which usually incurs a transaction fee of KES 25, will now receive the same amount as Airtime. This Airtime can be utilized for a range of services including airtime purchases, data bundles, or SMS, offering customers a unique blend of flexibility and value.
