Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Comes to Kenya Officially Priced at KES 91,000

Samsung Kenya has officially introduced the Galaxy S24 FE to the Kenyan market, extending its Galaxy S24 Series lineup. This release aims to bring high-end features and advanced Galaxy AI capabilities to a wider audience at an accessible price, enhancing mobile experiences for fans of the Fan Edition series.

The Galaxy S24 FE bears a similar size and design to the Galaxy S24 Plus, released earlier this year, with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display offering a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back, the device achieves peak brightness of 1900 nits – a substantial increase from last year’s model – ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight. The S24 FE’s aluminum frame and IP68 rating bolster its durability, making it resilient to dust and water.

Under the hood, the S24 FE runs on an Exynos 2400e processor, an efficient variant of the Exynos 2400, tailored for powerful performance, especially for gaming and multitasking. Equipped with Samsung’s new AI-based ProVisual Engine, the device provides an AI-enhanced photography experience, supporting Nightography for low-light performance, AI Zoom for enhanced clarity across zoom ranges, and an Object-Aware Engine that adjusts colors for lifelike detail in Super High Dynamic Range (HDR) settings.

The camera setup features a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, all optimized for enhanced clarity and stability. It records at 8K 30fps, up from 8K 24fps, providing smoother high-resolution videos. The 10MP selfie camera, with 4K recording at 60fps, is tailored for crisp, high-quality selfies and video calls.

For content creators, the S24 FE includes Photo Assist tools powered by Galaxy AI, which enable features like Generative Edit for object manipulation and Portrait Studio to transform selfies into creative styles, such as comic or watercolor effects. Edit Suggestions remove common flaws, like reflections, while Instant Slow-mo captures dynamic moments.

Samsung Kenya launches Galaxy S24 FE, featuring AI-powered photography, enhanced performance, durable design, sustainable materials, and seven-year software support.

Battery life sees an upgrade with a 4,700mAh capacity, complemented by 25W wired charging that charges the device to 50% in about 30 minutes. Wireless charging reaches 15W, and the phone supports reverse wireless charging for Qi-compatible devices. Samsung has included advanced connectivity options like 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3, along with IP68-rated water resistance for added resilience.

The software side is equally robust, running on One UI 6.1.1 with Android 14 and promising seven years of OS and security updates – future-proofing the device until 2030. The Galaxy S24 FE incorporates Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite, which includes tools such as Live Call Assist for real-time translation, Chat Assist to enhance messaging, Note Assist for automated note formatting, and Browsing Assist for summarizing and translating web pages. Additionally, Samsung Knox secures the device with defense-grade protection, ensuring user data remains safe.

Samsung has integrated sustainable practices in the Galaxy S24 FE’s design, utilizing recycled plastics, aluminum, and rare earth elements within internal and external components, and packaging the device in 100% recycled paper.

Available in Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint, and Yellow, the Galaxy S24 FE retails starting at KES 91,000. Until October 31, customers can purchase the Galaxy Buds 3 at a 50% discount when buying the Galaxy S24 FE for KES 101,000, as part of a limited-time launch offer.
